About Robert Cutler
Philanthropy & Volunteerism
Philanthropy and volunteerism play a significant role in Cutler's
life. Bob currently holds multiple leadership positions with
United Jewish Communities, serving as vice chair of the Board
of Trustees, national chair of the marketing and communications
committee and national major gifts chair.
He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Hyman Brand
Hebrew Academy, is a board member of the Center for Leadership
and Learning (CLAL), co-chair of the FreetheSoldiers.org committee
and is a member of the Kansas City Chapter of the American
Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).
Bob is a past board member of the Kansas City Arthritis Board
and American Juvenile Arthritis Foundation (AJAO). He has
also held numerous positions with the Greater Kansas City
Jewish Federation, including Treasurer and Vice-President
of the Board, was a member of the Israel and Overseas Committee
and was chair of the 2000 and 2001 Annual Giving Campaign.
In addition to Cutler's commendable community
service, he also contributes to 30 charities and non-profits.
He is committed to supporting political causes that are in
alignment with his belief that the survival of Israel is a
benefit to the global community.
Professional Background
Cutler received his bachelor's degree in sociology with a
minor in elementary education from the University of Denver
in 1978. He began his career as an account executive for Hallmark
Cards where he held positions as sales trainer and promotional
sales manager for seven years. Cutler was also Vice President
of Equity Marketing Incorporated, now based in Los Angeles,
California.
Family
The 51-year-old Cutler has three daughters, age 12, 16 and
18. He has a passion for digital photography, yoga and weight
training and formerly competed in five marathons and masters
swimming. |
